Privacy Policy
Primus is a workout app. It needs an account so your program follows you between devices, and it needs to know which workouts you finished so it can tell you what is next. That is the whole reason it holds any data about you.
Primus does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not use advertising networks, and does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

What we collect, and why
Account information
You sign in with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and password. You can also use the app without an account, which creates an anonymous identifier instead.
When you sign in we store the account identifier your provider gives us, your email address, and — only if your provider supplies them — your display name, profile photo URL and phone number. We never see or store your password. Your identity provider handles that.
Why: to give you an account, to sign you back in, and to attach your training history to you rather than to a single phone.
Training data
Which workouts you have completed and when, your current and best streak, your progress through the 180-workout program, and — for workouts you track live — the time and distance recorded for each interval.
Why: this is the product. Without it the app cannot show you today's workout, your streak, or your progress.
Location, while you track a run
If you give permission, Primus reads your device's location only while a distance interval is running, so the app can end that interval when you have covered the distance instead of making you tap.
This location data never leaves your device. We do not store it, we do not transmit it, and we do not record a route or a map. Denying the permission does not lock you out — you end the interval yourself.
Purchases
Whether you hold an active subscription or a one-time purchase, and the transaction history Apple reports for it.
Apple processes the payment, not us. We never receive your card number, billing address, or any other payment credential.
Why: to unlock the program for you, to restore it when you reinstall or change devices, and to work out whether a purchase is still valid.
How you use the app
Which screens you open, which workouts you start and finish, and similar in-app events, keyed to your account identifier.
Why: to see which parts of the program people abandon and fix them. These are our own product metrics. They are not shared with advertisers.
Crash reports
When the app crashes we receive a diagnostic report — the crash itself, your device model and OS version, and the app version. These are not linked to your identity.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, we store a push token for your device, a device identifier, and your app language, so the reminder reaches the right phone in the right language. Turning notifications off stops this.
What we do not do
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app ships with Apple's privacy manifest declaring no tracking and no tracking domains.
- We do not use advertising identifiers, ad networks, or retargeting.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not store your password or your payment details.
- We do not store your location or your running routes.
Who processes data for us
We use these services to run Primus. Each handles data only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it
Your account and training history stay until you delete your account. Crash reports and analytics are retained on our providers' standard schedules. Some records — a purchase receipt, for example — may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it.
Deleting your account
Open Primus, go to You → Settings, and tap Delete Account. This removes your profile and your training history.
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — Apple controls that. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, before or after you delete.
If you cannot reach the in-app control, email support@theprimus.app and we will do it for you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Email support@theprimus.app and we will respond within the time your law allows.
We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing for a "do not sell" request to opt out of.
Children
Primus is a demanding physical training program and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires a transfer safeguard, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses.
This website
theprimus.app is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no sign-up form. It loads a font stylesheet from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request. Nothing else leaves your browser.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for a significant change we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
Terms of Use
Primus subscriptions are governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
